My husband is out mowing the lawn for the first time in our marriage. To be fair, we've only been in the house for a year, and the lawn guys have been handling it pretty well. Leave it to a budget talk to motivate him towards splitting the mowings with hired help. I asked him to teach me. He seemed enthusiastic but I doubt it'll happen. The only other time I've ever mowed was born out of sheer curiosity on Nagle Street. Lots of interesting things happened at that address, much more defining than my first mowing experience. but that's what I thought of tonight.
